This will be one of our last transmissions, we're ending our journey at a good time, Jenny had an electrical fire, and then overheated last night in the middle of nowhere. We've had a hell of a ride for about 4000 miles, and we appreciate you reading and donating to our gas fund. Watch out for More pictures! Ryan out.

Turns out one of the wires to either the radio or the horn shorted and started a small electrical fire. Jenny suffered some 3rd degree burns on some of her carpet up front. We will be cruising in silence for a while, but the most important thing is that the Westerfellas will live to see another highway. We've decided that We would start moving towards our homeland a little earlier than planned. Ryan out.

We are leaving San Francisco, Jarrad almost lost his skateboard to the great hills. Ron was a most excellent host, but now were ready to rough it again. Our funds are running dangerously low, so I'll be going on the one ramen per day diet, maybe a little ketchup packet snack here and there. Ryan out.

A-hole photos.
Posting up with some wifi at the Gerling suite in San Francisco has allowed me to play with my technology. I found some pics on the dslr. This is the beach from where we spent the second night on the Oregon Coast.

These two are from hiking when we stayed in Redwoods.

This one is Jarrad with Alex lurking on a scenic turnout in the Redwoods.

Made a quick and dirty panorama from the super gnarly Burnside skatepark in Portland.

Should be able to snag some SF pics tomorrow. All is well. -Josh A.
Woke up kinda late this morning to the classic redwood Forrest fog and
mist. We're headed for San Fran today. We all had the donut craving
this morning so we stopped in Eureka. Unfortunately everyone had at
least four so the sugar rush and stomach ache is on. Just pulled off
the 101 for the redwoods scenic bypass avenue of the giants. More
picture updates to come when we get Internet in SF. In the meantime,
here's a pic of the camp from last night.

Well I guess I lied about the lack of service earlier. Turns out we
ended up at patricks pt. State park which is kind of a suburb of the
redwoods. We got this awesome beach, plus big trees are overrated.
There is probably an over population problem with crows in this area
so Alex is gonna try to tag one with a bb gun. I'm about to enjoy this
campfire. Ryan out.

I was just kidding with that last emo update. We're always having a
good time. Our professional diagnosis of jarrads ailment is a sinus
infection or maybe just a plain ol' cold. We're still cruising down
the 101 and looking for a place to get some zzz's. We took a pit stop
at some cool sand dunes for a little while today, Alex rolled around
in it for a bit, but the rest of us opted out on the count of no
showers for a while

We woke up this morning at a rest area near battleground, wa. Got
some free coffee from some vet's, we unanimously decided that the
coffee tasted like a honey bucket (see previous entries.)

After that we went back to tv battleground skatepark to lay some
hammers down, like usual. We all got a couple of tricks, even Jarrad
with his white spotted throat!
We were done with that park after about and hour and a half, and we
went to visit the super famous Burnside skatepark in Portland, OR. We
all took a couple of cruises around the old used up concrete. And I
decided that the park was just all hype, and the only reason it was
cool because just a couple of guys made it.
But anywho enough of my ranting, we are pulling up to newburg
skatepark, which is outside Portland. Hopefully we can actually skate
this park rather than just look at it. Over and out, alex.
